Zach Wilson shined once again as BYU rolled over Texas State 52-14 Saturday night in Provo. Wilson finished 19/25 for 287 yards and 4 touchdown before sitting early in the third quarter after BYU took a 42-7 lead. Zach showed his accuracy and arm strength on all levels of the field and BYU’s offensive line gave him great protection. The highlight of the night was a 45-yard TD pass from Wilson to Milne right before the half that showcased Wilson’s arm strength.

BYU’s defense gave up a TD on the opening possession but settled down and even came away with an Isaiah Kaufusi pick 6 in the third quarter. The Cougar defense held Texas State to under 300 total yards of offense on the night.
BYU moves to 6-0 in the season and stays in Provo for another late-night game next Saturday night versus 2-4 Western Kentucky. That precedes the big November 6 matchup at Boise State, who opened their season with a blowout win over Utah State.
