BYU Checks in at 10 in Coaches Poll, 11 in AP Top 25 Poll

NCAA Football: Brigham Young at Houston Troy Taormina-USA TODAY Sports

BYU continues to move up in the polls after rolling over yet another opponent, cracking the top 10 in the Coaches Poll and coming in at number 11 in the AP Poll.

The Big Ten kicked off their season this past week and had games that had an impact on BYU’s position in the polls as number 8 Penn State was upset and number 14 Wisconsin posted an impressive 38-point win over Illinois.

With the addition of the Big Ten and Mountain West Conference, only the Pac-12 and MAC have yet to kick off their seasons.

Going forward, BYU travels to #25 Boise State, setting up what could be a ranked matchup—assuming both teams win this weekend—and possibly biggest game of the Kalani Sitake era. But first, BYU needs to keep the pedal down as Western Kentucky rolls into Provo.

The Western Kentucky game will be broadcast Saturday at 8:15 p.m. MST on ESPN where BYU should be another 30-point favorite.
