The game is currently one of two games in November for BYU and the only one at home. BYU has two bye weeks in November they could still fill, or leave open in case of a rescheduled game. BYU could look to scoop up a game versus a Pac 12 game if one of the teams cancels during an open BYU week.
BYU has never faced the FCS Lions before. The Lions are playing just four games in Fall 2020 as their conference decided to play in the spring. BYU will be the Lions’ fourth and final game of the fall. In October they lost to Liberty 28-7 and Jacksonville State 24-17. They will play Southern Miss on November 7 before taking a week off for the BYU game.
