BYU will be a big favorite once again when take on UTSA Saturday afternoon in Provo. Vegas released its week 6 college football lines and opened with BYU as a 33-point favorite over UTSA. The over/under for the game is 65.
The UTSA Roadrunners are 3-1 on the season and coming off their first loss of the season at UAB. UTSA’s three wins have been over Texas State, Stephen F. Austin, and Middle Tennessee.
UTSA is ranked 116 in ESPN’s Bill Connelly’s S&P+ rankings, the lowest ranked team on BYU’s schedule. Navy is ranked 97, Troy 71 and Louisiana Tech 94 in the S&P+.
UTSA running back Sincere McCormick is the focal point of the Roadrunners offense. He ran for 983 yards last season and has 527 yards and 4 TDs through 4 games this season. UTSA was on their 3rd-string QB versus UAB due to injuries and it’s still TBD what their QB situation will look like versus BYU.
