Boise State Opens as 2-Point Favorite, BYU Moves to 2-Point Favorite Shortly After

Vegas released its week 10 college football lines and had some QUICK movement on the BYU-Boise State game. Vegas opened with Boise State as a 2-point favorite, but the line swung all the way to BYU as a 2-point favorite 10 minutes after the line opened. That likely means that bettors quickly bet on BYU, causing Vegas to move the line all the way over in BYU’s favor. The over/under for the game is 59.5.

Boise State is 2-0 and coming off a 49-30 win over Air Force. Broncos starting QB Hank Backmeier missed the game (possibly due to COVID), but USC grad transfer Jack Sears filled in and the Bronco offense didn’t miss a beat. Sears finished 17/20 for 280 yards, 3 touchdowns and 0 interceptions. Boise State star Running Back George Holani went down with an injury in the first quarter and didn’t return. Head Coach Bryan Harsin said he “thinks he’ll be okay” when referring to Holani. Holani rushed for over 1,000 yards last season.

BYU-Boise State play Friday night at 7:45 pm MT on FS1.
