BYU will open with Westminster on November 25, immediately followed by a Thanksgiving game at home versus New Orleans the next day.
The full schedule is below:
Nov. 25 – Westminster
Nov. 26th – New Orleans
Nov. 28th – UVU
Dec. 1st – vs. USC (Legends Classic at Mohegan Sun)
Dec. 3rd – vs. Vanderbilt or UConn (Legends Classic at Mohegan Sun)
Dec. 5th – at Utah State
Dec. 9th – Boise State
Dec. 12th – Utah
Dec. 18th – at San Diego State
Dec. 23rd – Weber State at Vivint Smart Home Arena
Overall, this is a solid non-conference schedule for BYU. SDSU, Boise State, and Utah State are all expected to be the top 3 teams in the MWC. USC will be a tournament contender, and a matchup versus UConn or Vandy will boost the SOS. BYU had fewer opportunities to schedule resume boosting wins due to COVID cutting back the basketball schedule, but coaches did the best they could to deliver a schedule that can make BYU worthy of an at-large tournament bid.
Also, how about December 12? That will be a memorable day for BYU sports in Provo, with football hosting San Diego State and basketball hosting Utah.
