BYU Basketball will play its third of three games this week, against the Utah Valley University Wolverines on Saturday night.
BYU comes in to the contest with the team from down the road at 2-0 on the season, having won games against Westminster then New Orleans earlier in the week. The Cougars beat New Orleans, 86-61 on Thursday. Notably, Gavin Baxter left that game with an apparent knee injury, and Purdue transfer Matt Haarms was still kept out with an ankle injury. We will see what Saturday holds for both of them.
UVU had its first game of the season cancelled due to COVID earlier in the week, but played on Thursday to open the season against Adams State. The Wolverines won, 100-75.
