BYU Basketball is on the road Friday afternoon to face the no. 18 San Diego State Aztecs.

This is the first time this season that BYU will face a ranked opponent. The Cougars are 6-2 overall on the season, 1-0 in away games (win at Utah State). Last week BYU lost to Boise State at the Marriott Center, before beating Utah there, 82-64 on Sat. afternoon.

San Diego State is 5-0 overall, 4-0 in home games. Their notable wins have come over no. 22 (at the time) UCLA, and on Thurs. Dec. 10 (their most recent game) at no. 23 (at the time) Arizona State, 80-68. After the win at Arizona State, SDSU rose six spots in the AP Poll, from no. 24 to no. 18.
