BYU Junior Left Tackle Brady Christensen was named a First-Team AP All-American released by the Associated Press Monday morning. Sophomore kicker Jake Oldroyd was named to the third team.

Christensen has never missed a game in three seasons and started all 38 he’s played in his career. He was also named a First-Team All-American by USA Today, ESPN, CBS Sports, Bleacher Report, and Pro Football Focus. He was also the highest graded offensive lineman by PFF in 2020.

Christensen had one of the best seasons for an offensive lineman in BYU history and now will decide if he will return to BYU for his senior year or declare for the NFL Draft.

Jake Oldroyd

Oldroyd was named an AP Third-Team All-American. Oldroyd finished the season 13-for-13 on field goals, the most by an FBS kicker without a miss this season. He has 3 kicks of 50+ yards and was 60-62 on extra points. Despite most of BYU’s scoring opportunities resulting in touchdowns, Oldroyd has made the most of his chances. He was named a Lou Groza award finalist and would be the first ever BYU player to win the award.

Congrats to Brady and Jake on their accomplishments!
