One of the best offensive lineman BYU has ever had declared early for the NFL Draft as Junior left tackle Brady Christensen announced his intentions Wednesday morning.

Christensen’s rise is nothing short of amazing. He was a member of the 2015 recruiting class and was a consensus 2-star recruit out of Bountiful, Utah. He was committed to Air Force before flipping and signing with BYU last minute.

Fast forward to 2020 and Christensen was arguably the best offensive lineman in college football this season. Christensen has never missed a game in three seasons and started all 38 he’s played in his career. He was also named a First-Team All-American by the Associated Press, USA Today, ESPN, CBS Sports, Bleacher Report, and Pro Football Focus. He was also the highest graded offensive lineman by PFF in 2020.

Christensen is all but guaranteed to end BYU’s offensive line drought in the NFL Draft — the last BYU offensive lineman drafted was Scott Young in 2005 when he was picked by the Eagles in the fifth round.

Congrats to Christensen on an outstanding career! He will have a host of BYU faithful following his NFL career.
