Good luck to Dax!

One day after junior LT Brady Christensen declared early for the NFL draft, Junior WR Dax Milne followed suit and declared his intentions to leave early for the NFL.

The junior wideout had one of the best seasons for a receiver in BYU history. In 12 games, he had 70 receptions, 1188 yards and 8 touchdowns. He had over 100 receiving yards in 6 of his 12 games. His 1,188 receiving yards this season were the fifth most in a single season in BYU history.

Dax’s ascent at BYU is quite remarkable. A member of the 2018 recruiting class from Bingham High School, Milne walked on to BYU over offers from Air Force, Weber State, and Army. Dax eventually earned a scholarship during his time at BYU.

Milne really broke onto the scene this year as a junior. He had 69 receiving yards as a freshman and 285 yards as a sophomore. With Zach Wilson fully healthy this year, Dax was the main beneficiary of the future NFL QB.

With Wilson in all likelihood declaring for the draft, Milne’s stock may never be higher. He will hope to go in rounds 4-7 and stick in the NFL as a savvy route runner with sure hands. BYU’s top wideouts next year will be seniors Gunner Romney and Neil Pau’u.

BYU will fans will miss having Dax in Provo, but we will be following him closely in the NFL!
