The Sacramento Kings announced Saturday afternoon that they have signed former BYU big man Eric Mika to a 10-day contract.
Mika has played in 13 games for the Kings’ NBA G League affiliate Stockton Kings this season. He’s averaged 19.8 points (56.7 FG%), 14.5 rebounds and 2.4 assists on the season. His 14.5 rpg leads the G-League.
Since leaving BYU after his sophomore year in 2017, Mika has played in Italy, Germany, China and the G-League during his professional career.
Below are the Kings’ games during Mika’s 10-day contract:
Feb 1 vs LA Lakers
Feb 3 vs Minnesota Timerwolves
Feb 7 vs Miami Heat
Feb 8 vs San Antonio Spurs
Feb 10 at Milwaukee Bucks
Teams can sign a player to two 10-day contracts during a season. After that, they have to either re-sign the player for the remainder of the season or waive him.
Congrats to Eric on his first NBA contract!
