BYU Basketball will play two games on the road this week, starting at Loyola Marymount in Los Angeles, California on Thursday night.

The first matchup between the Cougars and Lions this season was back on Jan. 4 at the Marriott Center. BYU won the game, 63-38. LMU has only won one game since that meet-up — Against Portland on Jan. 23.

LMU most recently played at Gonzaga Thursday (they had a bye on Saturday). Gonzaga beat LMU 85-67. The Lions’ overall record is 8-16, and they are just 2-8 in WCC play.

BYU last played on Saturday in Provo against San Francisco, beating the Dons 90-76 in an impressive performance by the Cougs (especially by Yoeli Childs, who scored 32 points). BYU is 19-7 on the season, which matches their final record from last year, with five games still left to play in the WCC. BYU is hanging tough at second in the conference, with an 8-3 record.
