BYU shot threes all night en route to a school record 18 three pointers made in a 77-54 win over LMU Thursday night in Los Angeles.
Alex Barcello led the way with a game high 18 points on six made three pointers and was one of six Cougars to make a three. BYU shot 18-39 (46%) from deep and took 39 of their 59 shot attempts from beyond the arc.
TJ Haws added in 17 points on 4-8 shooting from three and BYU continued its prowess as the number one three-point shooting team in the nation.
LMU shot 51% from the field, but BYU won the turnover battle 19-8 and never allowed the Lions to get into a rhythm offensively.
BYU stays in Southern California for a game at San Diego Saturday night.
