Halloween will be a matchup of the mascots.

Brett McMurphy reported Friday morning that Western Kentucky will visit Provo Saturday, October 31.

Back in April, Cosmo beat Western Kentucky’s mascot “Big Red” in Sirius XM College Sports Mascot Bracket Challenge. Many WKU fans claimed “voter fraud.”

The Hilltoppers are a member of Conference USA and are coming off a solid 9-4 season, which included a 45-19 win at Arkansas. The Razorbacks were terrible last season, but it was a road win over a SEC team.

BYU now appears to be up to 8 total games for the 2020 season — 6 home and 2 road. McMurphy also reported yesterday that BYU will host UTSA Saturday, October 10.

  • Sept. 7 - at Navy
  • Sept. 19 - at Army
  • Sept. 26 - vs. Troy
  • Oct. 2/3 or 24 - vs Texas State
  • Oct. 10 - vs. UTSA
  • Oct. 16 - vs. Houston
  • Oct. 31 - vs Western Kentucky
  • Nov. 21 - vs. North Alabama

Dave McCann reported earlier in the week that BYU is looking at a 10-12 game schedule with 6 games at home. Look for BYU to add high level AAC teams such as UCF, Cincinnati, and Memphis to fill out the remainder of the schedule.
