BYU Women’s Soccer released the full 2021 Spring schedule on Wednesday morning, featuring 6 non-conference opponents.
BYU kicks off the season with an exhibition match against Weber State. Due to weather and temperature concerns, BYU’s first three home games will be played at the RSL Academy indoor facility in Herriman. Following the exhibition against Weber State, BYU will play Utah at the RSL Academy.
BYU will then travel to southern California where they will play UCLA, USC, and San Diego (conference opener) in consecutive matches. BYU will return home to play San Francisco at the RSL Academy, before traveling to play Missouri.
BYU will play at LMU on Feb 27, and host Santa Clara in the first mach at South Field on March 13. BYU’s final non-conference match will be on March 17 as the Cougars host UVU.
The rest of the schedule includes just two home games against Gonzaga and Portland, while the Cougars will travel to Pacific, Santa Clara, Saint Mary’s, and Pepperdine (for two games).
Of note, BYU will play Santa Clara and Pepperdine twice. Santa Clara and Pepperdine are BYU’s toughest competitors in WCC play each year.
