BYU Opens as 3-Point Underdog at Baylor

BYU will be an underdog for the third time this season when they travel to Waco to take on 5-1 Baylor. Baylor opened as a 3-point favorite and the over/under for the game is 49. The Circa line already moved to Baylor -5 (meaning Baylor is the favorite) shortly after opening.

BYU is 2-0 so far this season as a underdog, with a 26-17 win over Utah as a 7-point underdog and a 27-17 win over ASU as a 3-point underdog. This will be BYU’s second true road game of the season. They beat Utah State 34-20 in Logan.

Baylor has looked much improved from last season when they finished 2-7. Their best win is over 3-2 Iowa State, which is their only FBS victory over a team with a winning record. Their lone loss is to undefeated Oklahoma State. The most points Baylor has given up is 29 to Iowa State.

QB Gerry Bohanan has thrown for 1,332 yards to go with 11 TDs and 0 interceptions this season. He’s also rushed for 131 yards and 6 TDs. Runnings backs Abram Smith and and Trestan Ebner have both rushed for over 400 yards, led by Smith with 597 yards and 7 TDs.
