BYU will have the sailor coug logo on their helmets for the first time when they play Baylor Saturday. The logo won’t replace the stretch Y as the primary logo on the sides of the helmet, but will be a sticker on the back of the helmets.

BYU announced on Monday that they will wear the navy helmets once again with white jerseys and navy pants. BYU debuted the new navy helmets last week versus Boise State.
BYU is adding the sailor coug logo as part of the “sailor game”. Baylor will have its sailor bear as its primary logo on their helmets for the first time this season. Baylor debuted these helmets in 2018 and will have worn them 3 times in the last 4 seasons.
It’s #BaylorHomecoming Week, so you know what that means

Welcome back, Sailor Bear. #SicEm pic.twitter.com/6I5a5W4Web
BYU has never worn the sailor coug logo as the primary logo on the helmet and won’t do so this season, but could we see it in future years? We were introduced to two new helmets this season with the royal and navy lids, and maybe we could see a sailor coug logo helmet in the future.
