BYU Moves to 10 in AP Top 25 and Coaches Polls

BYU is a top 10 team.

After a road win at Utah State and nine ranked teams losing in the AP Poll, BYU moved from 13 to 10 in the AP Poll and from 15 to 10 in the Coaches Poll.

This is the second consecutive season BYU is in the top 10; they topped out at number 8 last season.

BYU’s best win so far has come against 4-1 Arizona State, who is 2-0 in the Pac-12 and went on the road Saturday night to beat previously 20th-ranked UCLA 42-23. Arizona entered back in the polls at #22.

Baylor was ranked #21 but fell out of the polls after losing by 10 on the road to Oklahoma State. Utah is 2-2 on the year and is coming off a bye week before they travel to face USC this upcoming Saturday. The Trojans are 3-2 after a road win at Colorado.

Saturday’s game versus Boise State will get a national spotlight with a 1:30 MST kickoff on Boise State in front of a stadium that is already sold out. BYU will debut the new navy helmets with an all-navy uniform combination.
