BYU Releases Depth Chart For Idaho State, Gives Injury Updates

BYU released its depth chart for the Idaho State and shuffled a few things around due to injuries. The most notable exclusion is center James Empey, who suffered a leg injury at Washington State. Empey didn’t play versus Virginia and is not listed on the depth chart. Kalani didn’t rule Empey out for the year and said there is a chance he could return for the bowl game, but Aaron Roderick was a little more ominous, saying the team “will miss him (Empey).”

Connor Pay has filled in nicely for Empey and will continue to get the start at center with starting right guard Joe Tukuafu the backup if something were to happen. Right Tackle Harris LaChance is still listed with an “or” with Campbell Barrington, despite missing the last month with an ankle injury.

Gunner Romney missed the Virginia game and has an “or” between him and Samson Nacua.

Defensively, Chaz Ah You missed last game and is listed with an “or” between him and Max Tooley at the rover position. BYU brought back the FRODO position again this week and has George Udo and Ammon Hannemann listed with an “or” between them. Both players didn’t play versus Virginia.

The defensive backs saw some shuffling, as Jakob Robinson is listed with an “or” at the strong safety spot with Hannemann. Jacques Wilson is no longer on the depth chart at cornerback, meaning Shamon Willis slides into a backup spot behind D’Angello Mandell.
