BYU Basketball Scheduling Update: BYU to Host USF 2/25, St. Mary’s 2/27

NCAA Basketball: St. Mary’s at Brigham Young Chris Nicoll-USA TODAY Sports

BYU’s final week of the regular season will look a little different — and better — as the WCC announced that BYU will host San Francisco on 2/25 and St Mary’s 2/27, both in the Marriott Center. BYU was originally scheduled to host Santa Clara 2/25 and had a open date on 2/27.

The WCC announced the full conference changes in the below graphic. BYU’s game versus USF will be on CBS Sports Network and the Saint Mary’s game will be on ESPN2 or ESPNU.

BYU won both road matchups versus USF and SMC earlier in the season and will have a chance to finish off the sweeps in the Marriott Center. BYU has yet to allow fans outside of family for home games, so we’ll see if that changes for the final two games. The Utah Jazz and Utah State allow fans and Weber State announced they will allow some fans as well. St Mary’s will be the regular season finale and senior night.

San Francisco is currently ranked 100 in Net and would be a Quad 3 game. St Mary’s is ranked 70 and would be a Quad 2 game — home games versus teams ranked between 31-75 in Net are considered Quad 2.

BYU first has road games this week at Pacific and LMU before finishing off the regular season versus the Dons and Gaels.
