BYU Basketball will play at San Diego on Tuesday night.
The 14-4 Cougars are facing the Toreros after squeaking out a 2OT win over Pacific on Saturday. The final score of that game was 95-87. It brought the Cougs to 5-2 in WCC play.
The USD Toreros are 2-7 overall with a 1-4 conference record. That WCC win came on Jan. 23 at Portland. USD most recently played on Jan. 28, losing to Gonzaga, 90-62. Their scheduled Jan. 30 game with LMU was postponed due to COVID within the Lions’ program
BYU and San Diego were meant to play initially on Jan. 2, but did not due to COVID protocols within San Diego’s program. The Toreros schedule has been heavily impacted by COVID, with more than 10 games being either canceled or postponed so far.
