The postseason continues for the 11-seed BYU Women’s Hoops team on Wednesday evening.

The Cougars pulled off a thrilling 69-66 upset of 6-seed Rutgers in the first round of the tournament to earn the chance to play 3-seed Arizona in the second round. Paisely Harding put up an impressive 28 points while Shaylee Gonzalez added 17.

BYU is 19-5 overall and had a 13-3 conference record, finishing second to Gonzaga in the WCC and earning an at-large bid to the tournament. The Arizona Wildcats are 17-5 overall and finished second to Stanford in the Pac-12.

Arizona faced 14-seed Stony Brook on Monday, putting the hurt on them, 79-44. We’ll see if the Cougars can keep the upsets coming and make it to the Sweet 16. The winner of Arizona/BYU will play either 7-seed Iowa State or 2-seed Texas A&M.
