BYU got one more confirmation on their non-conference basketball schedule as the school announced that they will play at Utah Saturday, November 27. With BYU in town, that might even be enough for Utah to remove the curtains on the upper deck in the Huntsman Center.

BYU-Utah played last year in Provo with BYU coming out on top, 82-64. The Utes won the prior matchup in overtime in Salt Lake City. The game will happen the same days as BYU’s season finale at USC in LA. Game times for both games will likely be finalized as we get close, so hopefully things can be worked out so they don’t overlap. The 27th is the Saturday after Thanksgiving, so fingers crossed the results don’t put a damper on the holiday weekend.
BYU still has a few games to finalize before the non-conference scheduled is finished. I expect it to be wrapped up by the end of the month, possibly as soon as next week. Below is what we know know about the non-conference schedule.
Home:
- SDSU — Nov 12
- Utah State
- Texas Southern, reportedly — Nov 24
Away:
- Utah — Nov 27
- Weber State — Dec 18
- UVU
- Oregon — possible, not confirmed
Neutral
- Diamond Head Classic — Dec 22-25
- Creighton — Dec 11
TBD
- Iona — Coach Rick Pitino said in March this would be in Madison Square Garden, but that has not yet been confirmed.
