BYU announced that they will wear the All-Royal uniforms and debut the royal blue lid in the season opener versus Arizona in Las Vegas.
BYU showed off new royal and navy lids during the offseason, presenting a slew of new uniform combinations that BYU can use this season. Arizona wont’t be the only time BYU wears the royal lid this season, and multiple sources indicated to Vanquish The Foe that BYU will have a different uniform combination in each regular season game.
BYU gave us a tease in May of three other uniform combinations when they announced broadcast plans for a handful of games. Sources confirmed that the uniform combos in the below pictures are what BYU will wear for the corresponding games, meaning BYU will wear the traditional royal home combo for the September 11 Utah game and the all whites with royal accents versus Arizona State. BYU is planning to debut the all navy combo — with the navy lids included — for the Boise State game in October.
Here’s to hoping BYU’s first game in the new uniform combo is a resounding win over the Wildcats.
