**8/6 Update** Jimmer reportedly won’t join the Nuggets Summer League team.

The Denver Nuggets announced that they have added Jimmer Fredette to their summer league roster. The addition is for the Vegas summer league running August 8-17.

The Chinese Basketball Association will not allow foreign players next season, meaning Jimmer will not be able to play for the Shanghai Sharks. Jimmer tweeted in June that he is looking for a new place to hoop this upcoming season.

Jimmer last played in the NBA in 2019 when he made a brief appearance by playing 6 games for the Phoenix Suns. He played his fourth season for the Shanghai Sharks this past season, averaging 27.3 points on 40% shooting from three. Jimmer is 32 years old and will look to give the NBA one last shot with this summer league appearance.

Jimmer played on the Nuggets summer league team in 2016 where he did well and had a game high of 26 points.
