BYU-Boise State Gets Afternoon Kickoff Time

An afternoon game!

After late-night kickoffs all during September, BYU announced Monday morning that the October 9 matchup versus Boise State will kickoff at 1:30 pm MT on either ABC or ESPN.

Each of BYU’s 3 home games have been 8:15 MT kicks, so the afternoon kickoff will be welcome to many. BYU also teased the uniform combination for the game. BYU will debut the new navy lids for this game and will wear the all navy uniforms, sources told Vanquish The Foe.

BYU is currently 4-0 on the season while Boise State is 2-2. The Broncos two losses were close ones to UCF and Oklahoma State. BYU is currently ranked #13 in the AP Poll and could be knocking on the top 10 if they beat Utah State in Logan this Friday night.

BYU’s first three games were on ESPN and the USF game was on ESPN2. The USU matchup will be on CBS Sports Network since the MWC owns the TV rights. The BSU game will either be the first one of the season on ABC or the fourth on ESPN.
