BYU released its depth chart prior to Saturday’s Utah game with some minor changes. The only change on the offensive side of the ball was Gunner Romney being listed with an “OR” alongside Chris Jackson at one of the WR spots. Romney suffered a lower leg injury versus Arizona and sources told Vanquish The Foe that he is expected to miss multiple weeks. Aaron Roderick said that he doesn’t expect it to be season ending. Kalani said Monday that Gunner’s injury isn’t season ending but that he is “doubtful” versus Utah.
Samson and Puka Nacua didn’t take any offensive snaps Saturday and are listed with an “OR” between them once again at one of the WR spots. They are both expected to play Saturday.
Defensively, Keenan Ellis is no longer on the depth chart after suffering a scary injury. D’Angelo Mandell is still listed as one of the starting corners and Isaiah Herron takes Ellis’ place as the other corner. Fortunately, Ellis’ injury isn’t as serious as initially thought and there is a good chance he will return this season.
Jake Oldroyd didn’t play versus Arizona, but he is still listed as the starting kicker with no “OR” designation. You can view the depth chart below.
