BYU Basketball has yet to release its full schedule, but we at Vanquish The Foe have done enough digging to put together the full slate for BYU Basketball in 2019-2020.
To answer the big question, Yoeli Childs’ first game back from a 9-game suspension will be at Utah in the Huntsman Center on December 4. Yoeli will miss key games versus SDSU, Houston, Boise State and the Maui Invitational, but he’ll be back for the game versus the Utes, UNR, Utah State, UNLV and Weber State.
Links provided are confirmation by the opposing school or other outlets.
11/13 vs SUU (campus game as part of Maui Invitational)
11/25-11/27 3 games in Maui Invitational (opener versus UCLA)
11/30 vs Division 2 team
12/04 at Utah — Yoeli Childs’ first game back from 9-game suspension
12/07 vs UNLV (Salt Lake City)
12/14 vs Utah St (Salt Lake City, Beehive Classic)
*Sources confirmed to Vanquish The Foe that BYU scheduled a Division 2 team to round out its schedule, in part to ensure Yoeli Childs will be back for the Utah game. That game will likely be on the Saturday after BYU gets back from Maui. According the scheduling website Basketball Travelers, BYU assistant Cody Fueger had been looking to fill the last non-conference game on either 11/30 or 12/21, the two dates that Weber State and the D2 game are likely to be on.
