Cougar Kickoff Countdown: 15 Days

Russ Isabella-USA TODAY Sports

Statistically speaking, #15 Max Hall was one of best BYU quarterbacks. He has more wins, at 32, than any other Cougar quarterback and his six touchdowns in the first half against UCLA in 2008 are the most thrown in a half. He threw for a total of seven touchdowns in that game which are the most thrown at LaVell Edwards Stadium and tie the record for a BYU quarterback.

He is second only to Ty Detmer in Completions-Attempts-Interceptions (903-1,382-40), Career Passing Yards (11,365), and Career Touchdowns (94). For quarterbacks that passed for at least 1,000 yards, Hall is the fifth most efficient with a 151.08 quarterback rating. His 80-yard touchdown pass to McKay Jacobson against Florida State in 2009 is the seventh longest pass from a BYU quarterback. After beating UCLA in 2007 and Oregon State in 2009, both in the Las Vegas Bowl, he became the second BYU quarterback to win two bowl games. The 39 game starter was also an honorable mention All-America player in both 2008 and 2009.
