Khari Vanderbilt has tweeted he will not sign on signing day:

The 6-foot-2, 185 pound safety is a transfer from San Jose City College. Vanderbilt committed to the Cougars last June, but made an official visit to Utah State in December and softened his commitment to BYU. Now, he seems set to extend his decision-making window.

Vanderbilt was rated .8356 by 247Sports composite and the no. 12 junior college safety. The three-star recruit would bring some speed to the defensive secondary with a 4.50 40, which would help fill the void left in part by the departure of Robertson Daniel, one of Vanderbilt's long-time friends from San Jose. This friendship, along with a shared DB Coach who looks favorably upon his players going to BYU, was a big part of his decision to consider BYU originally.
