Cornerback Trevor Brent of West Mesquite High School in Mesquite, Texas has signed a National Letter of Intent to play at BYU.

Brent is a 5-foot-10, 165-pound cornerback and chose BYU over offers from Boise State and Yale. His 247Sports composite rating is .7889, a two-star rating. Brent was part of the contingent to visit Provo from Jan. 30 - Feb. 1 and committed during his trip.
