Bronco Mendenhall is no longer a candidate to become the next head coach of the Colorado Buffaloes, according to a report from Kyle Ringo of BuffZone.com. Ringo, who has covered the coaching search every step of the way, posted the following late last night:
"CU has either ruled out or been told there is no reciprocal interest from candidates such as Mississippi State coach Dan Mullen, Wake Forest coach Jim Grobe, Brigham Young coach Bronco Mendenhall and Utah State coach Gary Andersen."
The Buffaloes appear to be waiting on Cincinnati's Butch Jones to decide on his offer.
